Annie is an aerialist, actor, writer, director and producer. She is the co-founder and Artistic Director of Firefly Theatre and Circus, a company dedicated to merging the spectacle of circus arts with an accessible theatrical narrative. Annie has been involved with all of Firefly Theatre's productions in various capacities, the most recent being creating and performing Operation EVAsion.

She directs and produces Firefly Theatre's annual events, Let There Be Height and Fly By Night. Annie is the founder and Program Director of Firefly's Aerial Arts program, teaching trapeze and more to community members.

Since graduating from the Dell'Arte International School of Physical Theatre, Annie has performed her work at festivals and events in Canada, the U.S., the U.K. and Asia. Select favourites include Nova Scotia’s On The Waterfront Theatre Festival, The Vancouver Comedy Festival, Festival d'ete du Quebec, the Singapore River Busker Festival, and the Alberta Gala at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D. C. Her circus training began 23 years ago, with the Big Apple Circus in New York City, and hasn't stopped since.

Annie is the recipient of the 2007 Mayor's Award for Innovative Artistic Direction.

John co-founded Firefly Theatre with Annie and is the Chief Creator of Outdoor Entertainment. With Firefly he has been responsible for The Dung Beetle, Crosswalk Theatre, The 21st Century Gargoyles and The Human Fountain. His works have appeared in Edmonton at the International Street Performer's Festival, The Pacific National Exhibition in Vancouver, The Street Performance World Championships in Dublin Ireland, The Waterloo Arts Festival, The Toronto Busker's Festival to name a few.

When he isn't performing on the street, he is mostly seen in various theatres in Edmonton and across Canada.

Lyne Gosselin

Lyne Gosselin is a sports aholic! She loves to take on new challenges. The more physical it is , the more she loves it. If Lyne is not practicing circus she is somewhere cross-training or simply enjoying the outdoors.

With an intensive trampoline background. coaching at the National circus school in Montreal , Québec circus school she is here in Edmonton sharing her knowledge and skills with Firefly theatre. Lyne is one of those coaches who enjoys seeing her students work hard and sweating it out.
